On November 30, Northern Periphery and Arctic Programme 2014-2020 funded EMERGREEN project partner Donegal County Council went to the Isle of Doagh (Donegal, Ireland) with the sample plinths, and met with members of the Isle of Doagh community group.

The final stainless-steel versions will be installed soon, and people will take a picture and send that to the council via the Coastal Stories App helping Donegal County Council to monitor erosion around the Donegal coastline.

The Coastal Stories App will be based on crowd sourced images from specific locations that will contribute to monitor the progress of the erosion.
