Derry City and Strabane District Council will host the 2nd steering group meeting of the EMERGREEN project. Partners from Ireland, Sweden, Finland and Faroe Islands will travel to the city of Derry~Londonderry (Northern Ireland) on 24th - 25th September for an interesting 2-day agenda.
On the first day, partners will participate in a capacity building session, led by EMERGREEN partner National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG), where the services prototypes will be presented in an interactive section to get the feedback from the partnership. In the afternoon, partners will use the opportunity to discuss activities of the semester and to begin work on the next steps of the project.
On the second day, partners will learn about the Binovation app including development of an app, how it works and the benefits of using this type of technology for the end users. Afterwards, the partnership will visit a number of relevant sites that are involved in the implementation of the innovation activities in the project. Sites will include:
- A visit of the Science Park and talk with Johnathan Black (Co-Founder of Blockception)
- Cycle and tour of the New to You recycling centre
